Importing gcode and putting the settings inside a frame

#1
When you import a gcode/apt file into the tree, you cannot move/nest it inside a frame inside a robot.
You have to either:
1: add a new frame and nest the settings inside the frame and move the frame into the correct nest position,
or
2: move the frame you want the settings inside out from the nesting and do nr 1

Only way I am able to move a job into the nest of a turntable.

This is inteded behavior.

Instead of attaching robot machining settings to a reference frame, I recommend you to create a folder and attach it anywhere you want:
  1. Right click at the root of the station
  2. Select Add Folder

That works thanks, but ... Except another layer of nesting it is basicly the same thing. Can I ask why it is so? And why do you recommend doing it so?

Folders help you keep things organized and make groups of items.

You can still use reference frames if you prefer, while drag and dropping certain items to other items is not recommended by design, you can still cut/paste items and attach them to each other.
