creating new Robot - 7 axis (xarm7)

#1
Hi,

I am trying to setup the xarm7 from ufactory as a new robot using the "7 axis industrial" profile from the "model new mechanism or robot" tool.

I have got close, but axis 4 onwards appears to be misaligned. It seems this could be due to the horizontal offset of the axis, but there is no option to input this data.

Attached is the CAD of the xarm7. I ended up saving each axis individually as STEP files as otherwise when I split, it splits into all the individual surfaces.

Attached is the full CAD from ufactory and the individual STEP files I saved out.

Please could someone offer some advice on how to add the model to RoboDK.

Thank you in advance,
Paul

It is not possible to add this type of robot from the user's perspective.

I'm moving this to the request new features section and we'll be adding this robot in the next week or so.

Hi Albert,

Is there any update on when the xarm7 will be added to the library please?

Thank you,
Paul.
